Great Wall
Walking along the Great Wall of China For years I had been hearing about the Great Wall of China and looking at pictures of it. It was a real treat to be able to walk along a portion of the Wall during a trip to Beijing.
Imperial Palace
Visiting Bangkok, Thailand
Thailand has been one of the South Asian countries that intrigues me. I was not disappointed during a visit there. Their Imperial Palace is spectacular!
Egypt
At the Great Pyramids & Sphinx
When Nancy & I were in Egypt we spent a day visiting the pyramids. It was amazing to stand there and realize the size of these and wonder how they were constructed all those years ago.
Tokyo
Ancient Palace
While in Tokyo I visited the site of their historical palace as well as a number of other attractions in the city. Note the mote and wall for protection.
Cairo
In the Market
While in Egypt we spent a day walking around Cairo including a trip to a local market. The gentleman in the red shirt is a professor at Cairo University who took us through parts of Cairo we would not have otherwise seen.
Petra, Jordan
Standing in Entrance to Cave When in Jordan we went to see the ancient city of Petra. It is truly amazing and deserving of its designation as one of the Modern Wonders of the World.
